I feel blessed to have found Stacie to help me navigate my case, as her expertise, insight, and advice throughout the process was indespensable. It was her compassion and empathy, paired with her knowledge and experience that helped make this process much less stressful for me. I am adept at advocating for others, however I often struggle advocating for myself. Thus, in a situation like this where there was the added complication of being a legal neophyte, I was grateful that I had Stacie to guide me through the process in a manner where I felt heard and represented/understood. In addition, I appreciated how trustworthy she was, her integrity and character, and throughout every interaction I found her to be authentic and genuine, all of which are characteristics that I deeply value.

I was in a serious bike accident two years ago and I wanted an attorney who understood all the dangers we cyclists face in a growing city like Seattle. Stacie has met and exceeded my expectations in every area of my case.
Because Stacie is an avid cyclist herself she was quick to understand the circumstances of my accident and the significance of my injuries especially as they related to my ability to cycle again. ( I have been a cyclist all my life. I'm now seventy five and in my younger days I was a Category 1 bike racer). From our very first contacts Stacie was a pleasure to work with because she inspired unwavering confidence in her knowledge of the law and her motivation to leave no stone unturned to get the best possible settlement. I was able to devote all my energy to recovering from my accident ( an almost two year process ) because Stacie was taking care of all the legal issues. Stacie is ethical and she is fair. If you are reading this because you've been in a bike accident and are looking for an attorney, believe me, you won't find a better one than Stacie Bain.

While riding my bike, I got hit by a negligent driver and incurred several hundred thousand dollars of medical bills. I contacted Stacie shortly after the accident and was seen right away. She helped me feel confident in the merit of my case, as well as figure out how to proceed through the multitude of hurdles with insurance, both mine and the opposing party’s. She explained openly the cost of the case including her fees, but also helped me understand the value as well. I would have been completely overwhelmed, and likely made many expensive mistakes, without her expertise. She spent plenty of time talking with me about my case in the beginning and throughout until I felt she almost knew more about what happened than I did! She also approached the whole lawsuit pragmatically using research and focus groups, which allowed us to go to the settlement table with convincing data. I was extremely satisfied with the way the entire case was handled by Stacie from beginning to end.

While biking to work one day I was involved in a collision with a car. I knew I needed someone to be my representative and advocate for whatever legal and insurance challenges were to follow, so I could focus on my own recovery. After contacting multiple law firms and going over my case, I decided Stacie was the best fit for my needs. This ended up being a fantastic decision. Over the subsequent three years, Stacie demonstrated impressive insight, organization, commitment, and compassion in handling my case. And it was always a pleasure to speak with her over the phone and in person. I will be personally recommending her to anyone I know involved in a bike-related case and can absolutely vouch for her as a trusted counselor and tenacious advocate.

I called Stacie when I was in a pedestrian vs. vehicle accident when an uninsured driver hit me in a crosswalk. I was immediately impressed with her knowledge and grateful for her positivity. It was a dark time for me and it was such a relief to know I was in good hands. After learning that the driver who hit me was uninsured, Stacie managed all the communication with my own insurance policies (and she helped to educate me on them, and as a result I have updated them). Truly, she was a lifesaver, and I would have considered myself fairly well-versed in insurance before this accident. If you've been in a pedestrian or bike accident, Stacie is absolutely the first person you should call, with confidence.

I was hit by a vehicle making an illegal turn. I was told I would need to make an insurance claim and, not knowing any better, tried to deal with this myself. I was getting nowhere with the insurance claim. Thankfully, a friend recommended Stacie. She immediately started getting results. This meant I could get on with my medical treatment without worrying about my claim. In the end, Stacie got me an excellent settlement. She was a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend her without reservation.

I fractured my tailbone and suffered some other injuries after being hit by a car this summer while riding my bike. After receiving some misleading communication from the at-fault party's insurance, I contacted a few attorneys for some perspective. Stacie was the only attorney I spoke with who clearly took the time to understand my concerns, walk me through my options, and explain the insurance and legal jargon to me. Our initial phone consultation lasted almost an hour--Stacie was patient, informative, and kind even before I hired her as my attorney. She even met with me in my home because I was unable to travel due to my injuries at the time. Throughout the process, Stacie was extremely honest in giving me perspective on my case and helping me understand my rights. She was always quick to respond to questions or confusion I had about the claim process and made sure I was getting the treatments I needed to manage my pain and heal my injuries. She definitely became a friend and mentor during my healing process. Stacie connects with her clients on a human level and fights hard for them to ensure they get the compensation and clarity they deserve. I respect her strong bicycle advocacy and appreciate her supportive professional working style. Thank you, Stacie!

I was recommended to Stacie after I was run over by a Metro bus whilst riding my bike, and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Before I hired her, I attempted to handle the claim myself and it was a complete nightmare. Metro was putting all the burden of recovery on me and made me continually jump through hoops in order to frustrate me and make me go away. Dealing with them was like having a part time job in of itself. When I decided it was time for professional help, a friend recommended Stacie to me and she lifted all the burden of the accident off my shoulders. Working with her allowed me to focus on my physical recovery and gave me time to get back to normal life. Any loop Metro threw at me from that point forward was no longer my problem. Stacie handled all their BS for me.
Due the length of time for my physical recovery, I was with Stacie for quite some time. Throughout the process Stacie gave me consistent updates on her side of things. She would also check in on recovery and helped defer payment with a practitioner until after I had received my settlement.
Besides her legal skills, Stacie is also very kind and was genuinely concerned for my wellbeing through the process. If you are in any sort of bicycle related accident in Seattle, I don't think there is any better Lawyer to represent you than Stacie. You won't regret it!

There is no way to overstate the proficiency, the caring attitude, or the genuine advocacy I received at the hands of Ms. Bain. Several years ago, someone ran a red light and plowed into my car, causing me brain damage, multiple injuries and rendering me virtually unable to cope. When counselors ruled my condition PTSD, but therapy wasn't really addressing my brand new emotional discontrol, it was Stacie that realized I had a TBI, and that I needed to see some specialists. I am not the person I was, but I can now function at a much higher capacity than I could before my lawyer, of all people, helped me get the care I needed. Besides that, my case settled without my ever having to testify, saving me a lot of stress and scrutiny that would no doubt be incredibly difficult for me - and awarding me the policy limit that will allow me (someone with only catastrophic insurance) to afford to continue to seek treatment and not go into debt. Stacie was there every step of the way, often emailing me or calling me just to see how I was doing. I can honestly say that I feel like she saved my life. THIS IS THE LAWYER YOU WANT ON YOUR SIDE.

I, like many other people, had a negative perception of attorneys before I hired Stacie Bain. I saw them as a necessary evil, but evil none the less. Her handling of two cases for me has completely changed that perception. At all times she worked for my best interests and made sure I understood all my options in a clear and concise manner. Stacie negotiated skillfully and firmly with insurance companies, medical providers, and the state to get the best outcome for me. I am not an easy client to work with, Stacie maintained a compassionate demeanor with me throughout the process. I would highly recommend her as an attorney.

I was incredibly pleased with Stacie's knowledge, skill, handling, and communication. I also felt like she really cared about me and my story and how the accident affected my life. She is very personable, yet very professional. When you call, she answers the phone, and will talk to you, unlike most lawyers, to whom you must first go through several layers of secretaries and paralegals. She worked with me and guided me through a process over two years that led to a successful arbitration outcome. I highly recommend Stacie Bain if you have been injured in a bike accident.

I'm so glad she represented me. First, because she won - I got a much larger settlement than I thought I would, and I think that's because Stacie genuinely cared. Secondly, because mine wasn't an easy case. I was hit by a driver that ran, and tracking them down - and then their insurance company - took a lot of doing. But Stacie took the case anyway and overcame the obstacles, which is why I have a settlement at all. Thirdly, because of her compassion. I met with her months after the accident but my emotions were still raw. The last thing I wanted was to feel like I was being victimized again, or treated as just another number. Stacie also kept me informed about the case and her work on it, and I always felt like I was being treated with care, and like a human being.
She didn't just get me a settlement. She made me feel like I deserved justice, and, now that it's settled, like justice was done. I can't thank her enough.
